Developers have been taught to ignore and dismiss our humanity. But our full humanity is essential.
We need skills such as intuition and judgment based on experience, handling complex systems, collaboration, communication, empathy, and creativity.
I'm writing a book about what embracing our full humanity means, why it's important, and how we can start.
Writing was my first love, even before computer programming.
